Speech and Language services are available to those entering Compass Rose School through the IEP process of a placing agency. Student's that are not identified as receiving the service upon entering Compass Rose will be eligible for an assessment through a teacher referral. The service delivery model may include individual and/or small group therapy, consultation and collaboration with the teaching staff and residential program.

The students at Compass Rose School also receive individual and group counseling by a licensed therapist one time per week as well as a therapeutic based life skills class taught in the classroom on a weekly basis. The therapist is available to consult with the teaching staff to ensure follow through on progress gained in the therapy sessions.
